hey everyone! I got back from Aussie a few days ago.
We left for aussie on the 19 of October and landed in Sydney airport at about 6:00 NZ time. Mum and I went to a high tea with my future Auntie. The place was sooo fancy! It was at the very top of the mall. The waiters servered us tiers with food on it. There was like fancy fruit tarts and everything! It was like luxury! My 4 year old cousin, Maya is so cute. She decided that I was her best friend and insisted that she held my hand the entire day.
The next day was the big wedding. Maya and I were the flowergirls and wore matching dresses. We had our hair done professionally. Maya's 2 year old brother, Teja, wanted his hair done too! Its was really funny.
We were driven to the gardens in a taxi and walked down the isle infront of Aunty Tara. The ceremony was short, and the congregation walked across the raod to this massive, historic mansion. I soon discovered that this was the reception. We were served cocktails and tarts and appertisers.
The food at the reception was delicious! There was a balcony above the dining hall and us kids
(Maya, Teja, Michael and I) went upstairs and blew bubbles down below. They took lots of pictures of the bubbles.
We eventually went back to the hotel and took off our fancy clothes and fell asleep. We needed the energy for our flight to Brisbane....
